Around L.A

   .

After flying more than 11 hours, I arrived in California:

Paris...4am....0 degrees Celsius
Los Angeles...7pm...60degrees Fahrenheit

I took this "red shared van" from LAX, around 20 dollars to get Beverly Hills!

When we started driving into the city, I saw all the palm trees, all the light and I felt the Californian warm air I immediately knew that I will have a great time here.

The Famous Rodeo Drive with all the luxury shops

On the Beverly Dr, the street next to Rodeo Dr, there is "The Fornaio" italian restaurant where a lot of famous  people come for lunch....

Monica brought me to the UCLA in Westwood where she studied. Huge campus  like a small city with shops, fitness, restaurants, libraries, everything that students need ....

I did not take a lot of pictures because I understood quickly that I disturbed students...

Anyway, this huge campus is worth taking a look, making a walk and trying to absorb the american student's life style.




     The Grove 


 Magic place for shopping and dinning which is on the the grove drive.
There is one part inside where we can find Mexican foods (for sure), donuts stand, coke stand and even a french pretty restaurant and its french market called "Monsieur Marcel". Good stuff and really pretty. There are also some souvenir shop.
The other part is outside where there are all the shops and also some restaurants around the wonderful fountain !

and even a barber shop.....

Outside I felt like if I were in Disney Land, it's a beautiful place which looks unreal with music everywhere, a little green train crosses the Grove and turns around the Fountain....

I really like this picture, every single single is different I mean this guy has long rock and roll hair but he wears a suit, he looks really comfortable even in this position (I am quite sure he is not...) and he's reading a book in the middle of the Grove in front of the fountain.... However everything seems harmonize....
